The Supporters Cooperative is now actively re-doubling its efforts to boost the Guardian Account towards the next big target £40000( at the time of writing it currently stands at a healthy £32300)
In this respect the Events Team have recruited some very good support from members outside the Cooperative Board, to supplement their fund raising efforts for the Guardian Account.
We now have a reasonable amount of County items to put on the recently established Stockport County Supporters Co-operative eBay Account– some excellent County Shirts, a Scarf, Hat, County Beach Towel some Tees and a whole load of programmes, so watch out for more info/ links to the eBay account and an opportunity to help us boost the Guardian Account further.
Our Events & Fundraising Director added:
The Co-op eBay Account is an effort to reach Supporters who may not be able to attend Edgeley Park and visit the Cabin regularly.
All money raised from eBay sales goes directly into the Guardian Account. Clearly the success or otherwise of the account will be down to supporters, however Supporters can help by donating items to be sold on eBay.
Clearly as eBay attracts national coverage we can sell almost any item of value, so collectable items from other Clubs and other Sports are welcome.
To start it would be appreciated if items can be dropped at the Co-op Cabin on match days. We are particularly interested in outgrown Children’s Football Boots, although any items suitable for Auction will be welcome.
We hope to soon have shirts, hats, scarves, badges, books, programmes, Tees and more, so the other way to help grow the GA is to buy some of items we have for sale, many of which will start without a reserve price.
