The Supporters'Co-op is taking an active part in the new initiative for all County fans and supporters' groups to speak with "one voice". This statement has been released by the new alliance.Statement from "One Voice Alliance"
Last Saturday was one of the most painful days in this club’s history and the frustrations of all present were - and remain – evident. We must now more than ever pull together in solidarity.
What we can’t allow to go unnoticed is that this was totally avoidable. As fans we must endure yet another relegation without having done anything to deserve it. It is our duty as supporters to ask the right questions and hold those in charge of the club respectfully to account.
It is our belief as fans and leaders of existing supporters clubs that our collective interests are best served if we unite. This would give us the greatest possible capacity to instigate a change in the way our club performs and communicates to the community it belongs to.
Following two productive meetings we would like to tell you that we are making progress on this.
There are a number of formalities which will be resolved by some of the groups to allow us to move forward together at the same pace and with the same clear objectives in mind. This is an on-going and constructive process.
We will always have the best interests of this club at heart will take a democratic lead from the wider fan base. We aim to be dedicated to the wellbeing of the club regardless of the level it is competing at and hope to achieve a positive relationship with those running the club, whoever they may be.
Contact us via email (onevoicescfc@gmail.com) or via our twitter account. (@onevoicescfc) and let us know the following• Your thoughts or suggestion of how you want your supporters club to work what you think should be our main priorities?
• The long-term aims you want to see us achieve
• If you have any skills you feel may be useful (Web design, PR, finance, legal, volunteering, etc..)
Now is the time to realise that your loyalty can no longer be understated or taken for granted because without the fans, County would be nothing."
