About John
John first visited Edgeley Park in December 1966, watching a memorable Friday night victory under the lights. A lifelong supporter, he has followed the team home and away since retiring from his career as an engineer.
Elected as Communications and Media Officer in Nov 2024, John writes weekly columns for the Stockport Express and contributes regularly to the matchday programme. He also authors a weekly diary blog under the name JKB9B for The Scarf Bergara Wore podcast, sharing insight and reflections on the club and its community.
