Supporters’ Co-operative backs match day flag bearer programme for 2025/26

County Community Trust is delighted to confirm for the third season in succession that the Stockport County Supporters’ Co-operative will be sponsoring the Match Day Flag Bearer Programme for the 2025/26 season.

Building on the success of last year’s initiative and continuing to create memorable match day experiences for young fans.

Thanks to the Supporters Co-operative’s ongoing support, the programme will provide junior football clubs, community groups and organisations with a unique, free-of-charge opportunity to take part in a special day at Edgeley Park.

Each participating group will enjoy:

• A squad of 16 young players selected as official match day flag bearers, welcoming the teams onto the pitch
• Two complimentary tickets for the team manager and assistant
• Recognition in the match day programme and Stockport County website, including team logo, website link, and names of participating players

Dave Wardle, County Community Trust Operations Director, said:

"We’re incredibly grateful to the Supporters’ Co-operative for their continued backing of this fantastic initiative. Their sponsorship helps us welcome over 350 children and their families to Edgeley Park each season, giving them a truly unforgettable experience."

All matchday slots for the 2025/26 season are now fully booked, reflecting the popularity of the programme.
