Supporters Co-operative New Website Analysis

On 16th January 2026, the Supporters Co-operative proudly launched a brand-new website, designed to improve communication and engagement with members, raise awareness across the wider Stockport County fanbase, and help boost Co-op membership.
The new site provides a modern, professionally written and designed platform that is fully optimised for mobile and tablet users. It includes detailed information about the organisation, the latest news, Co-op initiatives and events, as well as key rules and documentation. The site also pays tribute to the Club’s legendary former manager, Danny Bergara.
Following a review of several options, the Co-op appointed John Robinson Web Design, a local designer and County fan. The decision was based on the high quality and professionalism of John’s work, along with excellent value for money. The platform also enables the Co-op to independently update and manage website content. More information can be found via John Robinson Designer website – https://johnrobinsondesigner.co.uk/.
Raising the Co-op’s Profile
In the first two months since launch, the website has already delivered encouraging results. It has attracted 4,600 visitors and generated 13,500 page views, with users spending an average of 2 minutes and 18 seconds on the site.
To help drive traffic, the Co-op has aimed to publish fresh news content every three to four days, sharing updates across message boards, social media channels, and direct emails to members.
