Supporters Co-operative Backs Match Day Flag Bearer Programme for 2026/27
County Community Trust is delighted to confirm that, for the fifth season in succession, the Stockport County Supporters Co-operative will be sponsoring the Match Day Flag Bearer Programme once again throughout 2026/27.
Building on the success of last year’s initiative, it will continue to create memorable match day experiences for young fans.
Thanks to the Supporters Co-operative’s ongoing support, the programme will provide junior football clubs, community groups and organisations with a unique, free-of-charge opportunity to take part in a special day at Edgeley Park.
Each participating group will enjoy:
- A squad of 16 young players selected as official match day flag bearers, welcoming the teams onto the pitch
- Two complimentary tickets for the team manager and assistant
- Recognition in the match day programme and on Stockport County’s website, including team logo, website link, and names of participating players

“We’re incredibly grateful to the Supporters Co-operative for their continued backing of this fantastic initiative. Their sponsorship helps us welcome over 350 children and their families to Edgeley Park each season, giving them a truly unforgettable experience.”
