Update 6 April 2017:
We are delighted to announce that Richard Park, Chairman of Stockport County, will be joining County Supporters in The Fourteen Wooden Steps, our very own pub, which we are opening for one night only on Thursday 1st June, inside the Stockport Beer & Cider Festival being held at Edgeley Park.
Richard has also kindly agreed to a Q&A session, and what’s more, Jon Keighren will be joining him.
Moreover, Chris Williams will also be attending in order to receive his Stockport County Appearance Number (SCAN) Certificate. Invitations are also being issued to many more former players, so look out for further updates.
This Saturday marks the 50th anniversary of the Day County won the Fourth Division Championship, so why not mark the occasion by buying a ticket for this event at The Fourteen Wooden Steps?
Tickets cost just £2, which includes entry into the Beer & Cider Festival, and are available from:

It is a requirement of the SCAN Scheme that certificates are presented by a Stockport County Supporter on behalf of the County Faithful. If you are interested in registering for such an opportunity, whether at the Beer Festival or at another event, please email email@example.com
As part of Stockport Beer and Cider Festival 2017, for one night only, we are delighted to be welcomed back to host our second consecutive ‘County Night’. Taking place on Thursday 1 June from 5.30 PM (until closing time) we will throw open our doors & welcome you to our very own pub The Fourteen Wooden Steps.
The Fourteen Wooden Steps is named after the number of steps on the terracing that was then installed in the Cheadle End stand back in 1967. This, of course, is the year we last won a league title and in light of the Club celebrating the fiftieth anniversary we thought we would get in to the spirt of the swinging 60s.
As part of the evening we will be entertaining you with music from the era together with memorabilia from that historic season as well as some special guests & surprises. There will also be opportunities to win County related prizes through raffles, quiz & the best era related fancy dress!!
As this is part of the Stockport Beer festival there is a modest entry fee of just £2 and we are pleased you can purchase tickets via this special link over at the Eventbrite site: The ticket is electronic (print or show the code on your phone on entry)
Every ticket sold through this special link will contribute a minimum of £1 towards the ever growing Guardian Account total.
At the moment this is the only we way we can offer advance tickets. Evenbrite is a very easy to use website that accepts payments from a variety of credit card sources in a safe & secure manner.
We look forward to seeing you.
Welcome to The Fourteen Wooden Steps
