Elections to the Co-op Board open on Thursday 28 September 2017.
In order to be eligible to stand or propose a candidate, you need to be a member by midnight on Wednesday 27 September 2017.

Preliminary Notification of AGM – Thursday 9 November 2017
The 2017 AGM of the Stockport County Supporters’ Society Ltd will be held on Thursday 9 November 2017 at the at the Bungalow Club, Hardcastle Road, Stockport SK3 9DB at 7.30pm. The formal AGM will be followed by an informal meeting, details to be decided.
Definitive details and the agenda will be included with the formal Calling Notice for the meeting, which will be sent out to all members week commencing 16 October 2017.
Co-op Board Elections – nominations closing date Monday 6 November 2017
Members are invited to stand for election to the Co-operative Board of Directors. A nomination form is enclosed, should you wish to stand, and it is also available on the website.
Peter Towey, Dave Marchbank, Damian Beaumont, Ian Brown and John Giles are continuing as elected members.
Billy Byrne, Paul Charnock and Nick Lee have decided to stand down. Christine Robinson has now reached the end of her three year term and must stand down. This leaves four vacancies to make up the maximum of nine directors.
As Edward Keane and Paul Thompson were co-opted onto the Board until the 2017 AGM they also stand down. Any Board members who have reached the end of their terms of office are eligible to re-stand as are co-opted members should they wish to do so.
If no more than four members have returned valid nominations (including Election Addresses) by 5pm 6 November 2017, they will be elected unopposed and their names presented to the membership at the AGM. If more than four nominations are received, hustings will take place at the AGM and ballot papers sent out the following day. The election will be conducted by an external Returning Officer and an Independent Election Management Group. Results would be announced no later than Thursday 7th December, in accordance with the Election Policy.
