We’re still being talked about – so yes, things could actually be worse. Let’s count our blessings…
Every club is aware of its fan message boards and blogs. A confident football club should know to apply an ‘it’s mainly just the gobby ones’ filter to most of the content and rejoice in the fact that anyone cares enough to talk about the club.
Here’s where you can read some really great stuff as well as the opinions of people whose home life you will worry about.
County’s Official Website
This doesn’t quite fit into this category but it needs mentioning – the official website of the mighty Stockport County.
This is a YouTube channel set-up and managed by the Stockport County Young Supporter’s Coop. Here you can expect to find interviews and features.
Nice, educated, reasoned people on this forum. If you went out for a coffee with them it would have to be Fair Trade.
Opinions, tantrums and common sense. You’re guaranteed two of the three on this popular message board.
Clear Blue Skies
Witty, well-written, engaging blog with a familiarly cool web design.
Ian Brown (no, not the ex-Altrincham Grammar school boy with the forced Manc accent) writes about his County journeys and promotes the best supporters’ group at County, Help the Hatters. Help the Hatters do practical, positive stuff for County.
The Cheadle End Punk
Never mind the b######s – Adam Moss has a good blog going on here.
You don’t exist unless you’ve got your own area on the Vital Football site. We’ve got one, therefore we exist.
The County File
Another day another blog, but in this one ‘Bricki’ (really?) is following every game and has ‘inside access’ to the club. Makes for a good read.
