Directions by Train
Newport railway station is situated around two and half miles away from
the stadium. It is served by trains from London Paddington & Bristol
Temple Meads. As the stadium is located quite a distance away in may be
an idea to take a taxi. There is a rank outside the station and a taxi
should cost around £6-7.
Directions by Car
Leave
the M4 at Junction 24 and take the A48 towards Newport. Cross over five
roundabouts (the fourth of which has a KFC outlet on the left and the
fifth and last roundabout has an Aldi store on the same side) continuing
towards Newport and you will see the stadium over on the left hand side.
Take the next left into Langland Way and then left again into the large
stadium car park which is free. If the car park is full then there is
street parking to be had on the surrounding industrial estate. If you
end up crossing over the River Usk then you have gone too far. The
stadium is signposted around the area as the Newport International
Sports Village (also shown on brown signs as a figure of a discus
thrower).
Away
Fans Facilities
Away
fans are allocated a section of the Shed terrace on one side of the
stadium. This stand is shared with home fans, so at least atmosphere is
created with the normal banter. The normal allocation for this area is
450 fans with an additional 150 being allowed to stand on the flat hard
standing area next to the stand. There are generally no seats made
available to away supporters. However the Club will try to accommodate
the elderly or those who are infirm, but this will mean that they will
be housed with the Newport supporters within the Grandstand.
